Dutas 0.5 mg (Dutasteride) is originally used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). As a side effect, it has been found to be effective in hair growth and preventing hair loss in the entire area of the scalp and is now widely used to treat male hair loss (androgenic alopecia).

Dutas 0.5 mg (Dutasteride)
This medicine is originally used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).As a side effect, it has been found to be effective in hair growth and preventing hair loss in the entire area of the scalp and is now widely used to treat male hair loss (androgenic alopecia).
As a point of caution, it has been recognized for alopecia in men with mild to moderate hair loss, Dutas does not restore long-lost hair.Also, it is not used to treat hair loss in women.
How to use
For treatment of alopecia, take 1 to 5 capsules once a day at regular intervals.
For treatment of BPH, take 1 capsule once a day at regular intervals.
Precautions
The incidence is low at 1 to 5%, but side effects such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and decreased sperm count have been reported.
If you notice any abnormality while taking Dutas, please consult your doctor immediately.
Women and children (18 years and under) should not be taken.
Keep out of reach of children.
