Description
Tadarise 20mg
This listing is for Tadarise 20mg (20mg). Form: oral tablet/capsule unless otherwise stated on the pack.
Educational information based on trusted clinical references (including MedlinePlus, Mayo Clinic, NHS, and NICE/EMA sources where applicable). Not a substitute for medical advice.
What it is
A phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE5) inhibitor prescribed for erectile dysfunction (ED) and the urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
How it works
It relaxes blood vessels to increase localized blood flow to the penis during periods of sexual stimulation. It does not cure ED, increase desire, prevent pregnancy, or protect against STDs like HIV.
Typical use
Can be taken as a daily low-dose tablet or on an as-needed basis. Always take exactly as directed and do not take more than one dose per day.
Onset & duration
Should be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. Its physiological window is unique, with effects that can last up to 36 hours in the body.
Common side effects
Headaches, indigestion, heartburn, nausea, flushing, diarrhea, muscle aches, arm or leg pain, back pain, and nasal congestion.
Serious warnings
Seek emergency medical help immediately if you experience a painful or prolonged erection lasting longer than 4 hours (priapism). Stop the medication and call a doctor instantly for sudden changes in vision or hearing, chest pain, or noticeable irregular heartbeats.
Who should avoid
Do not take if you are using nitrate medications or riociguat. Avoid if a doctor has cautioned you against sexual activity due to heart strain. Not suitable for individuals with recent heart attack or stroke, severe liver/kidney disease, low blood pressure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Women and children must not take this medication.
Interactions
Nitrates, riociguat, alpha-blockers, blood pressure medications, azole antifungals, macrolide antibiotics, protease inhibitors, St. John's Wort, grapefruit, and alcohol.
